Check the other crossposts with more comments. He got personally harassed and is rightfully mad about it. The dude is still a shithead (if you look at his other activity) but its not his sole fault but the fault of the entire project for deciding to preemptively comply with a law that probably wont even be enforced. The implementation doesnt actually do anything other than being a freely writable text field anyways so the whole situation is kinda overblown. Still its odd that they even implemented it at all.
