I used to buy cheap sunglasses but then I realized the lenses are actually worse and often noticeably less clear. I like to be able to see while I’m driving and such so I don’t buy cheap sunglasses any more.

I think they’re making the point that sunglasses always get messed up, as if some sunglasses eating monster chews on them.
It certainly resonated with me. I think I’ve said verbatim what the guy in the last frame says.
